What's the prize: One unplayed 2025 Gibson Modern Collection ES-335 Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar in Satin Smokehouse, shipped with its original hard shell case and the case candy it came with. Around $3,000+ retail.
How the winner is decided: Whoever sits at #1 on the Community leaderboard at the moment entries close. The board ranks by gold stars — one gold star for every take a creator selects as the winner of their bounty. If two musicians hold the same number of gold stars, points break the tie: one point for every take you upload. Nothing is drawn at random and nothing is scored by hand — the board you can read right now is the board that decides it.
When it closes: August 31, 2026 · 11:59pm ET. The standings at that moment are final.
Who can enter: Any musician on Stemsmith with at least one submitted take. There is no entry form and no entry fee — uploading takes to bounties is the entry.
How the winner is contacted: By email, at the address on the winner's Stemsmith account, from d@stemsmith.ai. Questions before then go to the same address.
Shipping: Stemsmith covers shipping and arranges the delivery address directly with the winner.
